Next Steps
Luneus continues to work with Epiq as a long-term talent acquisition partner, helping strengthen their employer brand, EVP, and internal hiring capability.
This ensures sustainable recruitment success while maintaining access to our niche technical expertise.
Through our work with Epiq, several important lessons emerged that have shaped both their internal recruitment approach and our ongoing partnership strategy.
We identified that Epiq are currently underutilising their employer value proposition (EVP). Despite having a strong internal culture, excellent benefits, and supportive working environment, these strengths were not being effectively communicated to the external market. This meant that potential candidates, even those based locally, were often unaware of the opportunity within the organisation. Strengthening their employer brand and amplifying their EVP will be key to attracting top engineering talent organically in the future.
We also reaffirmed that precise role qualification is absolutely non-negotiable. At the start of the project, we worked closely with Epiq to clarify the technical and behavioural competencies needed for each role, aligning HR, hiring managers, and stakeholders around a shared understanding of success. As our Operations Director put it:
“If you’re not 100% clear on what you’re looking for, how can you be 100% sure when you’ve found the right person?”.
With this success, we will be continuing our consultancy approach with Epiq and transition to a long-term talent acquisition partnership to build Epiq’s internal capability.
Our next focus is to help Epiq strengthen its employer value proposition and employer brand strategy to attract high-quality local engineering talent organically and reduce its reliance on external recruitment agencies.
